Aloha! My name is Alyssa (Lyss) Mencel and I am a current senior majoring in Management Information Systems and Marketing at the Shidler College of Business, University of Hawaii at Manoa. I was born in Minnesota but moved to Hawaii when I was younger with my family. I love the islands and all of the adventures they have brought me but I am so excited to share with you my study abroad journey.

When I was a kid, I used to adore listening to my dad talk about all of his adventures abroad. This sparked my curiosity for the world around me and my goal of studying abroad. I am so fortunate to be spending the Fall 2021 semester in Copenhagen, Denmark and I can't wait to see where these next couple of months take me.
