Back to School: 16th Grade

I remember when I was younger I was always so nervous and excited for the first day of school, I could barely sleep. 16 years later and approximately 7,100 miles away this has not changed. It was also so strange to know I was going back to school in person. After nearly a year and a half of living in a virtual world, going back in person was something I definitely had to prepare myself for. Luckily, when the campus is as beautiful as Copenhagen Business School (CBS), the excitement has a lot more weight than the nerves.

CBS also has a welcome back project that features a lot of events all around the school. These events are a great place to meet other exchange students as well as full time CBS students. They also include a lot of good free food and my personal favorite, coffee.

It is also good to note that classes are a lot different than they are at Shidler. For example 2 of my classes are quarter 1 classes, so they are a little more intensive but end in mid October. Most classes are also only held once a week but the class sessions are long, typically around 3 hours. CBS will also let you register for classes that overlap with each other and classes aren't always held at the same time weekly so make sure you look carefully at your course calendar. The other nerve racking part that I will be sure to update more on lately is the exams! There is no participation so 100% of my grade comes from my final exams from all of my classes, wish me luck :)

P.S: make sure you practice your biking because biking to and from and around campus is definitely the best way to go.
